By His grace, no longer slaves to sin
Save by grace and slaves to righteousness
His Spirit in us helps us to win
The battle against unrighteousness

Crucified with Him on the cruel cross
We have a delightful inheritance
Redeemed from the crippling, damning curse
We can now, joyfully praise, sing and dance

It is not by our wisdom or power
God is at work in us and for us
Causing us to triumph and tower
Turning all our minuses into plus.

All glory and honour be to Him
Who seats on the throne and to the Lamb
Power, dominion we ascribe to Him-
The God of gods, I Am That I Am.

For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin -- because anyone who has died has been freed from sin.
