Rejoice! Heavenly Courtiers Have Come

Rejoice! Heavenly courtiers have come to serve you;
To lift you up in their hands above the wicked bands;
Sold-out to the Saviour, sent to server strangleholds;
Still on a mission, descending and ascending via the Son;
Still fly with coals of fire to purge penitent prophet;
Still rejoice over souls, saved, separated, sanctified;
Ready to respond as flaming arrows to fulfill His Word.

O what level of dignity you have been raised!
O what royal communion you have been joined!
Arise, bestir, heir of God and joint–heir with Christ!
To whom do you owe all this? To whom should glory be?
Bow down in worship and adoration to the God of Creation;
Who raised you above powers, thrones and dominions;
Who made you seat with Him in heavenly places.
