The Blood Covenant

The Blood Covenant-
Ever Prevalent,
Sealing the Believer,
Speaking better-
Better things than the blood of bulls;
Better things than the blood of Abel.

The Blood Covenant,
The Great Price Jesus paid,
Great sacrifice He made
To redeem you and I;
The only way to justify,
More precious than silver or gold,
For all – young and old.

The Blood Covenant,
Enacting the promise
The only divine premise
To enter the Land
And rout the wicked band.
The blood reaches the highest summit.
for all who will humbly submit.

The blood is legal tender,
Rendered by the Redeemer,
Reaching down the lowest valley;
Bringing hope to those in misery;
Too marvellous, more than word,
More than I have ever heard..
